One Internet Day is a free event that started in the year 2000 to lobby for the passage of the E-Commerce Law. Various organizations have organized their own free One Internet Day events through the years. Taking advantage of advances in technology, this is the 2nd time One Internet Day is organized as a pure online event. However, this is the first time it will have an international assemble of speakers and used for a cause to help calamities affected families.
